As a busy mom of four young kids, I find myself needing to rely on scriptures from the Bible to keep me grounded when I feel overwhelmed or stressed. In moments of exhaustion and uncertainty, finding solace in god’s word can provide much-needed comfort and encouragement. Here are 30 Bible verses to uplift and strengthen overwhelmed and stressed moms in their journey of motherhood.

For me, I often feel raising small children (four, with a set of twins) is it’s own kind of battle ground. I need to start every morning in prayer and reflecting on key verses in the Bible to give me the strength to get through the day with His perfect peace.

Whether you are a first-time mom, single mom, stay-at-home mom or working mom, motherhood is hard and we need voices in our life that are speaking Godly encouragement. Write them out, put them on your mirror or read them everyday in your journal, but I hope you let them speak life in to you today.

To the Overwhelmed Mom

Overwhelmed mother, God’s unfailing love will cary you during this season of life. So next time you are experiencing hard days, pull up these verses and reflect on them.

As I was writing this blog post, I had a friend reach out to me asking for prayer for a personal situation she was dealing with. I was blown away that I was able to pray over here with one of the verses IN THIS POST. 

These verses matter. Speaking Jesus’ name in to your situation, no matter how big or small matters. God has mighty power and wants to be in your life, giving you His peace of mind, and clothing you with the full armor of God. 

Christian moms, in moments of overwhelm and stress, let these scriptures from the heavenly Father be a source of strength, comfort, and encouragement for you as a mom. Remember, you are not alone, and God is with you every step of the way, guiding and sustaining you through the challenges of motherhood.
