My Story
Hi!! I’m Amy, founder of Genius Mom Hacks.
Within three years, we had 4 children, with the last two being twins. It was crazy and we were in the trenches!
As a new mom I struggled with enjoying being a mom because I felt everything was chaotic. I wanted to feel more organized, prepared and proactive.
I became an angry mom who didn’t want to be a mom anymore. Things needed to change! Can you relate?
By making changes in my routines, rhythms, organization, and in the products I bought, I noticed things got easier.
I started to have some “extra” time that I now could put towards ME! For years I neglected self-care, and my needs as a mom because I didn’t have any extra time in my day.
I want every mom to have the tools to make the same changes I’ve made and learned along the way.
My goal is to help tired moms find simplicity in the chaos of Motherhood.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, and spent 10 years in Project Management and Business Systems Analysis. Many skills I learned in my degree and career have helped shape and create some of these ‘game changing’ mom hacks.
I am a proud wife, to a hard working husband, and we live in Northern California.
Let’s be honest, no one loves the mundane responsibilities of motherhood. The cleaning, the cooking, the laundry, the Uber driver, the scheduling, but they are all needed.
But what if these required mundane tasks, could take WAY less time?! Feel WAY easier!

This blog has become a life-line for me. Sharing my journey in Motherhood has brought healing to my soul, given me a new found purpose beyond being a mom. I am no longer that angry mom I was years ago, I have the peace and joy I was looking for all those years!
